This mapwas generated from the provincial output maps/reports of DENR Regional offices (CAR, Regions 1, 2, 3, 4A, 4B & 5)provided by NADC-TWG (NAMRIA & FMB)including 13 Republic Acts.

Each provincial maps/reports were reviewed using the replotted LC data of LC division.

Replotting requires the "transfer" of LC lines and corners depicted on LC maps into a base map/topographic map. The activity aims to standardizedLC maps which are in various scales and convert them into digital format. In the ensuing process, the accuracy of LC maps which were then very low as a result of the use of low accuracy surveying and mapping tools, are enhanced.

The replotting of LC maps is being undertaken in conjunction with and supports the implementation of the assessment and delineation of forestland boundaries by DENR. It shall mainstream other important activities like updating of national LC statistics to conform with constitutional classification categories and reclassification of lands of public domain, in the medium term.
