In the ensuing process, the accuracy of LC maps which were then very low as a result of the use of low accuracy surveying and mapping tools, are enhanced.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>The replotting of LC maps is being undertaken in conjunction with and supports the implementation of the assessment and delineation of forestland boundaries by DENR. It shall mainstream other important activities like updating of national LC statistics to conform with constitutional classification categories and reclassification of lands of public domain, in the medium term. </SPAN></P></LI></UL><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
